Why are people blinded and think that America is the best place to be in the world when it's not?

No matter what other country you go to its going to have issues but in a different light. So for example they may have a great healthcare program but lack in some other area that america was strong at. Everyone has their own opinions on this and will tell you differently from their experiences of living in another country. I do agree that society is going downhill. I work in retail and have noticed this in how customers think they can be rude to anyone.
