Are clothes from AE, A&F and Hollister still "in" for people in high school?

I ask because I'm in a senior and I'm going to a new school that's public and I'm from a private with uniform and I need to definitely update my wardrobe. I like the way the clothes look but I don't want to be out dated or look like a middle schooler or something.
