Do you think that I have a case?

On Monday morning, it snowed in Florence (which is 30 miles from where I live) I attend college there off campus. My school never lets us get any days off, so they didn't delay it or anything. I started not to go to school, but I had a spanish test. I was three minutes away from school, not even going 50 mph, when all of a sudden, my truck swerved out of control, keep in mind I wasn't going around a curb and the road didn't appear to have snow on it. (black ice, my parents told me) The sun was shining by now...Anyways, I had my nephew in the back (who is only 4 years old) we fishtailed into a tree and it bounced off and totaled my truck. Also keep in mind that they still remained open after over 100 accidents were reported in Florence before school even started. Am I allowed to sue my school for staying open on such conditions. please, no rude answers
