Notice to vacate from property?

my tenancy agreement has run out in the property i rent if the landlord no longer wanted to lease the property how much time does he have to give me to vacate the property there is no rent arrears or problems with the property just wondered as i dont have a tenancy agreement/has run out. i live in the UK
