Is the REAL reason your children/grand children have home work is to show how uneducated or forgetful we are?

No. The real reason is that we (teachers) are forced to give homework. Blame Bush and NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND. Blame all those standardized tests we are forced to emphasize.
