I completly agree with you. Armour abilitys are gay, the dmr is inferior to the battle rifle in many ways (I hacked reach to get all the halo 3 weapons), and yes they somehow failed at blood gulch.I think by making forge world and firefight so extensive they expected that to make up for the rest of it. Ive counted seven glitches where you suddenly die with no explanation. They leave bits and pieces out also. What happened to Jun? Why Did a fricken needle rifle kill a shielded sparten(Kat)?And why do grunts suddenly speak in their native language and sound all masculine? that ruins the grunt experiance. Personaly, the only thing i enjoyed was the SABRE battle, which lasted less than 10 minutes. Im just glad i heard someone say something other than 'how its such an amazing game'
