What is up with this viedo: Love and Tragedy Video (Yahoo News)?

I can't get a link of it but it is on the Yahoo News, and the synopsis of this video is basically; a guy breaks his neck becoming quadriplegic, his girlfriend takes care of him for 10 months only to leave him when he returns home. This is most discombobulating video regarding disabilities that I have seen. It just goes straight from true love to see you later. Anyone else watch this?
