Could you deliberately drop one of your beliefs reached through evidence?
No matter how hard I try, I cannot convince myself France doesn't exist, for example. Believers make it look as if the belief in God were a matter of deliberate decision-making. But it seems implausible that a person chooses their own beliefs. It's more like one adopts something as a belief because the evidence available satisfies one's standards of knowledge. The evidence available for the existence of God might be good enough to some, but definitely, not good enough to everyone. So, can you drop a belief deliberately? Because if that's the case, then you can also believe in something deliberately.
