Should I accept this job offer?

Friends of mine who've entered the military did so because they didn't know what they wanted to do with their lives. They were bored and generally unhappy with where they were at, so they decided to make a change. However, I don't think you should risk your life simply because you feel stuck. Just because you don't have any family left or a girlfriend isn't a good reason to risk your life! As for owning your own house and having college loans, I completely understand how that might inspire you to enter the military. But don't you think there are so many other options and other jobs available that don't have all the downsides you've mentioned? I would try your hardest to find something else, and entering the military should be the last option for you. I wish you best of luck with your life...
